What you will learn from our school:

Rigging: Proper leader, weighting, float for drifting, when and how to use sinking leader and line.

Casting: Casting techniques that will make your fishing day less tiring, drifting and swinging flys, mending your casts for maximum fishibility.

Reading the stream: Maximize the areas you fish where you should look to find fish, Water temperatures and what fly’s to use with these different water temperatures. Fishing in high water for steelheads, when the water is off color what you can do in these adverse conditions to catch more fish. Proper Wading techniques: Most Anglers wade through the fish many times they stand where they should be fishing! We will show you ways to avoid these bad practices.

Spotting fish: We will show you some tricks for spotting fish and how to approach them without spooking them.

Proper fish handling: Releasing fish so they lives.

Numerous fishing Techniques have been developed By Jay Peck and Carl Coleman over the past twenty five years. A day with us can make your fishing days very productive one. The on stream school will be March 28, 2010 we meet at our shop 8:00 am Discuss rigging etc. then off to the stream for hands on fishing.
