Report:  check the graph before you fish.   

Water is in winter condition nymphs an streamers are a good bet small wooly buggers are a good bet. You will need to get them down so try a sinking leader or split shot.

Report: Fishable for the present water on an up trend so watch the graph!!

  The Oatka is a no kill all year from Wheatland Center rd. down stream to Union st. artificial lures only.

The rest of the creek is no kill from October15, till April first

Then 2 fish over 12 in. no gear restrictions.

Try scuds in pink,midge pupa, small woolly buggers.

If you see any one killing fish call the DEC, the killing season is closed only catch and release and artificial lures only.

Report:

The water from the generation plant has been shut off as of the first of April 2008 so the fishery will be limited to the small flow from Slater creek.  The plant is not rebuilding
Just find another fishing hole!!!
